Bouddi Coastal Walk

The 8km Bouddi coastal walk runs from Putty Beach to MacMasters Beach. Boasting beaches, boardwalks and birdlife, it’s known as one of the most beautiful central coast walks. This hike is characterised by sweeping views, shady rainforest and inviting picnic spots. The walk has also been nominated by the Australian Geographic as “one of the 18 best day walks in Australia”!

Prefer a shorter walk? Break the walk into shorter sections:

  • Putty Beach to Maitland Bay (3km)
  • Maitland Bay to Little Beach (3.5km)
  • Little Beach to MacMasters Beach (1.7km)

Please note, before disembarking on a walk it is always recommended that you let someone know where you are going and when you expect to return home. Please also pack well – good walking shoes, a mobile phone, plenty of water and snacks, sunscreen and a hat. Always take your rubbish home with you.

For this particular walk, your bathing suit is usually a good idea for a refreshing dip at Maitland Bay!
