National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be undertaking a fox control program using 1080 poison baits in Bouddi National Park. The bait program will commence on Thursday 1 February 2024 and continue until Thursday 28 March 2024, over a 8 week period. We would like to spread the word to the surrounding community as part of the notification process and compliance with the Pesticide Control Order. NPWS would like your assistance to facilitate this by including the attached notification in any publications, websites, facebook and email contact list connected to your community group. If you could confirm where the notification has been placed it will be recorded as part of the notification requirements of the 1080 baiting program. There will also be a Public Notice in the Coast Community News – Thursday 25 January and 1 February 2024 editions.
